Cost Accountant

Bell & Associates has been engaged to find a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in SAP. This role offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
• Conduct variance analysis between standard and actual production costs.
• Monitor and report on inventory valuation, production, and material costs.
• Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to streamline cost accounting processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information in SAP.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP is required.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
