Bell & Associates has partnered with a law firm in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Family Law Attorney with at least 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will handle various family law matters and counsel clients on issues such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division.
Duties:
Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody hearings, and domestic violence cases.
Conduct legal research and analysis on family law statutes, regulations, and precedents.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law matters.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
3+ years of experience practicing family law.
Strong understanding of family law statutes and procedures.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compassion and empathy for clients going through difficult family situations.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
