Summary
As the Finance Manager, you will establish and own the yearly P&L budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for all business units across the organization, working with management to plan for and work towards the company’s financial goals. You will be a cross-functional partner, touching every department to ensure financial plans represent the entire company’s endeavors. You have a strong command of GAAP accounting and will work closely with the Accounting department to ensure necessary entries are made each month. Ad-hoc projects to be assigned and completed as needed. This role will report to the Director of Finance & Analytics in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role will have the opportunity to create the foundation of an early forming Finance Planning & Analytics team. The meticulous planning and analysis performed by this role will directly contribute to the success of the company. You will work alongside and be supported by a team that is determined to win.
Responsibilities
- Establish and own the yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
- Create monthly financial packages for stakeholders
- Conduct monthly budget variance analysis and commentary for upper management
- Work closely with all departments to gather OpEx and CapEx plans throughout the year
- Be the subject matter expert on GL data extracted from ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Create reporting in Excel and/or Power BI as needed
- Understand business needs and gaps in processes or analyses
- Create processes and tools to enable more efficient analyses
- Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses to support data-driven decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field – Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- Highly skilled in Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, VBA)
- Strong ability to perform business and sales analytics
- Proficient in data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
