Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next FP&A Manager. Our client is looking for a motivated, data-driven, results oriented, FP&A Manager to help develop, grow and lead the newly formed FP&A function for the company. The mission of the FP&A team is to improve business decisions across the company by being an influential, value-added business partner to senior management and business unit vice presidents by providing strategic support, utilizing comprehensive, business modeling; analysis; and KPI management resulting in company growth and profitability. The successful candidate will have strong financial modeling and analytical skills along with an ability to assist in implementation of a standardized, enterprise-wide FP&A tool. The candidate must be able to work across the spectrum of macro-level reporting and analysis down to detailed, in-depth details. The candidate must also show a history of delivering continuous improvement initiatives and strong management of project-oriented work. This position will report directly to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial planning and forecasting models to support the organization’s financial planning and budgeting process
  • Conduct complex financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide financial support and insight to help drive business decisions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Understand, develop, and implement PowerBi reports
  • Develop and monitor KPIs
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies
  • Help research and implement technology/tooling to support long-range, comprehensive planning
  • Assist enhancement of enterprise-wide, company annual valuation
  • Assist on ESOP sustainability modeling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of progressive and/or financial planning & analysis experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Financial modeling
  • Planning and forecasting
  • Data analysis, management, and visualization
  • Business and process improvement
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work well and build relationships with various business partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and works well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Prior experience with an ESOP company a plus
