Bell & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team. This role is crucial in managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing critical insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with Sage software and a strong understanding of healthcare accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing detailed financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
• Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and financial reporting requirements, staying up-to-date with changes in the industry.
• System Utilization: Leverage Sage software to manage accounting processes efficiently, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules and work closely with external auditors during annual audits.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry, preferred.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare-specific accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
