Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next HR Manager. The Human Resources Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office as well as the development and administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, records retention, employee relations, training and development, benefits, recruiting and safety. The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a high performance, employee oriented culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Manager coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs; reports to the Chief Financial Officer, and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

  • Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Individual must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people, maintaining flexibility, objectivity, and a capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Individual must be able to complete any reasonable request of management necessary to effectively operate the department/company.
  • Active involvement in the Company’s mission statement, core values, and non-negotiables.
  • Act in a pleasant, courteous, and respectful manner to all internal and external customers at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
  • 5 + years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources management.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations and safety preferred.
  • Preferred PHR / SPHR and SHRM‐CP / SHRM‐SCP certifications but not required.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in HRIS management and record keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • English language required.
