Joy Conway started her career in recruitment in 2018, initially supporting the Washington, DC metropolitan market with both temporary and permanent talent placement across a variety of industries, including professional services, private equity, associations, nonprofit organizations and government contracting firms. Since 2021, she has specialized in Executive placement, cultivating dynamic partnerships with companies seeking to fill key leadership roles, most often in HR, Operations, Sales and Marketing. Joy joined Bell & Associates in 2025 with a focus on growing out the firm’s partnerships with companies in Virginia and Maryland.
Joy grew up in the Washington, DC suburbs and took advantage of educational opportunities to complete high school and start undergraduate studies in Europe. She is fluent in several languages, lived in three countries, traveled extensively and honed exceptional people skills as a result. She currently resides with her husband in Virginia, raising their three kids and one dog.
