This role will assist the Director of Operations in supporting the accounting and business operations of the organization and its entities.
The minimum required qualifications are at least one year of experience in an accounting role at a venture capital or private equity firm.
This role is required onsite in Bentonville, AR, and does not offer relocation benefits.
About You:
Responsibilities
Accounting Acumen: A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for private funds and a GP entity, including the ability to review third-party fund administrator financials with precision.
General Ledger Reporting and Reconciliation: Ability to review and apply chart of accounts to vendor expenses. Reconciliation of cash and brokerage accounts and experience with institutional banking applications.
Accounting Software: Familiarity with QuickBooks, CRMs, and other financial protocols. Intermediate Microsoft Excel abilities, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Project Management: Financial and operational support for ad-hoc projects including compliance, regulatory filings, and maintaining investment data for company-wide use.
Audit & Tax: Year-end audit and tax preparation and review.
