Assistant Controller

Bell & Associates has been engaged to find an experienced Assistant Controller to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific expertise in SAP and manufacturing environments. This role offers relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Implement and maintain SAP financial modules; provide training and support to finance team members.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP system is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
