Compensation Manager

Bell & Associates is seeking Compensation Manager will be responsible for developing and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that our compensation strategies align with the organization’s goals and objectives, while also remaining competitive within the industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies and programs to support the organization’s overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that our compensation programs remain competitive and aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Manage the annual salary review process, including salary structure analysis, benchmarking, and merit increase planning.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to ensure that compensation programs meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members and business leaders on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary offers, and promotions.
  • Ensure that compensation programs are administered consistently and equitably across the organization.
  • Conduct job evaluations and compensation benchmarking and assess job classifications under FLSA.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation, such as FLSA, state wage laws, and pay equity requirements.
  • Administer annual incentive plan.
  • Assist global locations as needed with evaluations and benchmarking, annual merit targets and compensation administration.
  • Analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with external vendors and consultants as needed to support compensation initiatives, such as salary surveys or compensation studies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate managers and employees on compensation policies, practices, and guidelines.
  • Stay informed about market trends and best practices in compensation to inform program design and decision-making.
  • Ensure all data integrity of all job-related data in HR system (Workday)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation management or related roles.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Experience conducting market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to compensation, such as FLSA, state wage laws, and pay equity requirements.
  • Experience with manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Workday experience a plus
