Corporate Controller

$160-200k plus bonus

The Global Corporate Controller is responsible for leading the company’s global accounting, financial reporting, and internal control environment. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information across all regions, while driving standardization, compliance across all legal entities, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work across all regions (NA, LATAM, EMEA, APAC, Northeast Asia)
• Global oversight of consolidated financial reporting and statutory compliance
• Accountability for global accounting, consolidation, and controllership teams
• Key partner to CFO, regional finance leaders, audit, tax, and GBS

Global Financial Reporting & Close Excellence

Outcome: Accurate, timely, and transparent global financial reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee global consolidations and intercompany eliminations
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS and local statutory requirements
• Deliver high-quality financial statements and disclosures

Internal Controls & Governance

Outcome: Strong, scalable control environment with minimized financial risk

• Own global internal controls framework (SOX or equivalent readiness)
• Ensure audit readiness and successful external and internal audits
• Strengthen policies, controls, and compliance across all entities
• Partner with Internal Audit and Risk teams to proactively mitigate risk

Accounting Policy & Technical Leadership

Outcome: Consistent, best-in-class accounting practices globally

• Lead development and enforcement of accounting policies
• Provide technical guidance on complex transactions (M&A, restructuring, etc.)
• Stay ahead of regulatory and accounting standard changes
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFO and executive team

Global Process Standardization & Transformation

Outcome: Simplified, efficient, and scalable finance operations

• Drive standardization of finance processes across regions
• Partner with GBS to optimize transactional finance (GL, AP, AR)
• Lead automation, ERP optimization, and digital finance initiatives
• Reduce cycle times and improve data quality and transparency

Business Partnership & Decision Support

Outcome: Strong financial insight supporting enterprise decision-making

• Partner with CFO and leadership on financial performance and risks
• Provide insights on balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital
• Support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and value creation
• Enhance financial discipline and accountability across the organization

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Outcome: High-performing, globally aligned controllership organization

• Coach and develop a strong global accounting team
• Develop talent, succession plans, and future finance leaders
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration

Requirements

• 12–15+ years in finance/accounting leadership roles
• Proven experience in global controllership or equivalent (or multi region experience)
• Strong technical accounting expertise (US GAAP / IFRS)
• Experience in multinational, matrixed organizations
• Track record in finance transformation and process improvement
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Prior leadership of global or shared services teams preferred
