Bell & Associates is seeking a New Product Development Engineer in Westerville, OH. Relocation Assistance Available

Key responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, creating prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams (like marketing and operations), creating documentation, and ensuring products meet quality standards. We are looking for engineers with strong technical expertise, analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to apply new methods and technologies.

Duties include:

• Creating and designing new products, processes, and technologies within the food processing & packaging industry
• Developing and testing prototypes to validate new concepts and designs.
• Conducting experiments and tests to ensure products meet performance criteria and quality standards.
• Recording research findings, design details, support documents, and testing protocols.
• Working with other engineers, management, marketing, operations, and finance teams.
• Investigating and resolving product or process issues.
• Ensuring that designs and processes meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Experience with aseptic equipment is a plus.
• Infrequent travel may be necessary for field research.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, mechanical or electrical mechanical is
• 10+ years of experience in an engineering role developing complex mechanical manufacturing equipment, preferably in the food processing industry.
