Staff Accountant

Russell, KS

$27-30/hr. plus OT

The Staff Accountant will perform general accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Grain settlements, contract applications, and other grain accounting activities.
• Daily invoicing and manufacturing processes.
• Freight matching for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Month end reconciliations and inventory capitalization calculations.
• Ad hoc reporting and variance analysis.
• Other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• One year or more of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
